Cornelis Engelsz (1575-1650) was a Dutch Golden Age painter known for detailed realism, genre scenes & portraiture. Influenced by Rembrandt, his work reflects everyday life and the emerging middle class.

Pieter Salina was the father-in-law of Willem Fransz van Schoterbosch.
