Matthias Stom (1590 - 1670)

Matthias Stom (c. 1600-after 1652) was a Dutch Golden Age painter & master of Utrecht Caravaggism. Known for dramatic chiaroscuro, realistic depictions of biblical scenes influenced by Caravaggio & Ribera.
