As an acquaintance of acclaimed American photographers such as Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Weston and Ansel Adams, Minor White developed a unique style that incorporated spiritual elements in sophisticated and often subtle ways. White is also known for co-founding Aperture magazine in 1952.
