Minerbetti coat of arms
This stunning terracotta sculpture depicts a wreath adorned with yellow flowers and green leaves, centered around crossed swords – the emblem of the Minerbetti family. Created in 1510 by Giovanni della Robbia, it’s currently housed at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
ジョヴァンニ・デッラ・ロッビア
ジョヴァンニ・デッラ・ロッビア（1469-1529）は、アンドレア・デッラ・ロッビアの息子であり、フィレンツェ・ルネサンス期の陶芸家です。鮮やかな多色釉薬を用いたテラコッタ彫刻で知られ、宗教的な場面、最後の審判の祭壇画、装飾的な噴水などを手がけました。
