      Anna Pauwlona, the Princess of Orange, received Alexander II, Grand Prince and heir of Russia, at the Czaar Peterhuisje in Zaandam, April 17, 1839. The princess presents the grand frost a leaf on which bread (in turban form) and salt in a salt vessel, a well-known Russian welcome ritual. To be present (from left to right): Prince Willem Alexander Frederik (Alexander) of Orange-Nassau, Prince Willem Frederik Hendrik (Hendrik) of Orange-Nassau, Elisa Martha, Countess of Limburg Stirum, Sophia Wilhelmina Petronella, Countess of Wassenaar, Prince Willem (III) of Orange-Nassau, Dieuwke Fountain, her husband Adriaan van der Hoop, Prince Willem Frederik Karel (Frederik) of the Netherlands, Princess Anna Pauwlona of Russia, Princess Louisa of Prussia, Prince Willem II of Orange-Nassau, Alexander II of Russia, his aide-de-camp Count Orloff and among the figures at the door Baron d'Ivoy and Baron Mackay.
