Dionys Van Nijmegen（? – ?）
Dionys van Nijmegen (1705-1798) was a Dutch painter known for portraits, ceiling & wall decorations in the 18th century. Son of Elias van Nijmegen, he continued the family tradition and taught his son Gerard. His works reflect the decorative style of the period.
Portrait of Adriaen Paets (1697-1765), elected in 1734. Bust in oval to the right. Part of a series of portraits of the directors of the Rotterdam Chamber of the United East India Company, made for the New East India House from 1698 on the Boompjes in Rotterdam.
