The office chair Lei mainly for women

pa hall or peter adolphe hall(1739 – 1793)

Peter Adolf Hall (PA Hall) was a Swedish-French miniature painter renowned for his innovative impasto technique & lifelike portraits of French nobility. Explore the life and work of this 18th-century artist, court painter to Louis XVI, and revolution

Several studies show that men and women use chairs differently. Women like to lean forward in a chair, while men prefer to lean back. Women and men have different bodies and often different work tasks. Yet most office chairs are made by men, for men.Industrial designer Monica Förster from Stockholm came up with the idea for the office chair Lei, which is designed for women and helps prevent work-related injuries. The chair has a cushion for back support, LumbarFlex, and instead of ordinary arm rests it has supports for the elbows, which makes room for somewhat broader hips. The chair is produced by Officeline, a Swedish company. Developing Lei took five years and cost almost 6 million SEK. The chair was available in stores from 2009.
