In a recent gilded frame. The singer Lucrezia Agujari (Ferrara 1747 - Parma 1783), whose contralto skills were appreciated by Mozart himself, married the Parmesan Maestro Giuseppe Colla, conductor of the Ducal Orchestra. At her death she had a public funeral and was buried in the Carmine church. The traditional attribution to Jean-Marc Nattier (1685-1766), devoid of documentary evidence, is to be excluded because he has been a painter since 1762, before the young Agujiari was presented to the public and crossed the Italian borders.Recently, Giuseppe Cirillo suggested recognizing in the woman portrayed the singer Caterina Gabrielli, known as
