Discover enoch hendryk glicenstein (1870-1942), a Polish sculptor who lived & worked in Italy & the US. Known for figurative sculpture, paintings, and works exhibited internationally. His legacy lives on at the Glicenstein Museum in Israel.

A white marble sculpture depicting the bust of Teresa Silberstein supported by two male figures, the whole composition is mounted on a round base. The back of the sculpture bears a signature: H. Glicenstein Roma 1898.Teresa Silberstein (née Cohn) and her husband, Markus Silberstein, were a family of factory owners (cotton and wool industry) from the city of Łódź. They were owners of several real estate properties in Łódź. They collected works of art, supported artists, founded orphanages and hospitals.
