On 14 February 1825, the Prince of Orange visited the victims of the flood, temporarily taken care of in the Aalmuezenweeshuis in Amsterdam. Interior with in the middle the crown prince accompanied by officers, the hall is filled with the victims, including many mothers with children. Sketch for a painting.
