Moroizumi Shigeru is a renowned installation concept artist in the modern Japanese art scene because of the thermometer language that he has created. This language started from his early works on media such as wax, plaster and resin, which require accurate control of temperature. He began to transfer his attention to the temperature measuring tool - thermometer. Through the expansion and contraction of the liquid in the tube, the thermometer visualizes invisible natural phenomena, and shows the change of hot and cold in people
