Robert Peake the Elder (c. 1551-1619) was an English painter known for his vibrant full-length costume portraits of the Elizabethan and Jacobean courts. He served as Principal Picture Maker to Prince Henry and Serjeant Painter to James I, creating iconic images of royalty and nobility.
