VISITS TO ARABIC HOMESOn 2 December Ida Uhse writes in her travel diary: “Early in the morning we went to the Coptic church and were there as early as 8am to be able to witness the entire service. We were given bread to eat and the Countess kept hers as a memento. After breakfast we viewed two Arabic houses.
