Necklace designed and created by Alan Donovan, made of amethyst from Kenya; ostrich egg shell from Turkana, Kenya, glass beads from Nigeria, clay beads, Sahara desert, glass trade beads from Czechoslovakia; brass beads from the Giriama of Kenya, brass beads from Sudan and Ivory Coast, and the Surutia as a pendant from Maasai married women.
