Situated on the top of Syndenham Hill, Crystal Palace Park was developed as a landscape park to house the reconstructed Crystal Palace following its move from Hyde Park. The park was also used for football, cycling, cricket, motorcycling and motorcar racing. Historic England Archive EPW025247.
