Georgin and Pellerin represent here the Apotheosis of Napoleon Bonaparte, Emperor of France.Represented in the afterlife acclaimed by his loyal allies and soldiers, including Desaix, Kléber, Hoche, Lasalle and Ney, he also appears alongside heroes of ancient times such as Alexander, Caesar or even Genghis Khan, who show him the throne of the Temple of Glory so that he could sit there, he who surpassed them in everything.Above the bards on the left, we can make out the Vendôme column, and even an Egyptian pyramid.
