      The Katzenelnbogen Series For Philip’s biography see the entry on his portrait in the Leeuwarden Series (SK-A-527). The prototype for the present one, which would have been the same as that for the portrait in the Leeuwarden Series, has not been located. Some costume details, such as the fringe of the sash and the collar, which has been enlarged, differ from the Portrait of Philips in the Leeuwarden Series.
