Triangle with scenes from the life of John the Baptist. On the middle panel John the Baptist exhorts the Pharisees, including two disciples and Christ. On the left in the background John baptizes in the Jordan. On the left side panel the preaching of John the Baptist, in the foreground two soldiers. On the right side panel the baptism of Christ in Jordan, in the background the banquet of Herod and the beheading of John the Baptist. On the outside of the left hatch: John the Baptist with the Lamb of God. On the right hatch: the kneeling founder Berbel or Barbara van der Noot with Saint Barbara. The altarpiece is made for a Benedictine monastery in Groot-Bijgaarden, near Brussels. With integrated list.
