He Youzhi was born in 1922 in Zhenhai, Zhejiang Province. He is a famous comic artist and line drawing master. In 1949, he began to draw comic strips independently. He has been engaged in the creation of comic strips for more than 50 years, and has created more than 100 comic strips. He has made great contributions to the creation of comic strips and the art of line drawing in China. He has worked in the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Shanghai People
