Portrait of Matthew Augustijnsz Steijn (1539-1606). Council at the Admirality College of the Northern Quartier in Dokkum. Hip piece, standing, with glove in the right hand, a folded letter or document in the left hand. Around the shoulders a black cloak with fur lining. On the right the family weapon, two folded letters on the left, marked Haarlem and Amsterdam, stabbed behind a bar. Pendant of SK-A-3865.
