Yoon Dongju Memorial Hall
Photo of Yoon Dongju taken on August 4, 1942 in his hometown of Longjing. The poet, who was studying in Rikkyo University in Tokyo, returned home for a while during summer vacation. This photo was taken with relatives of his age, whom he grew up with in his hometown, and became his last picture from his hometown. The poet’s hair is cut short due to the Ordinance on Topknot Prohibition of Undergraduate Students that was implemented in April under the wartime regime.
