Jerome Myers (1867-1940) was an American artist profoundly shaped by his itinerant upbringing and brother Gustavus’s journalistic activism. He excelled as an actor and scene painter before dedicating himself to art at Cooper Union and the Art Students League, mentored by George de Forest Brush.
