Peter Cavallini (c. 1240–1330) was an Italian architect and sculptor who bridged the Gothic and Early Renaissance periods. He is celebrated for his monumental frescoes and mosaics, particularly those adorning St. Vitus’ Cathedral in Prague, where he crafted a striking self-portrait sculpture depicting a man with contemplative eyes and draped cloak.
