A giant rabbit gazes at you, noticeably larger than the real thing, with its ears pointing skyhigh, greatly increasing the overall height of the portrait. The volume and density of the body diffused outward into the triangular planking of a pyramid, giving the figure an inextricable weight and gravitas. Indeed, it is an odd description of such a weak animal in real life.Shao Fan does not hesitate to use his pen to write a lot of expressions. Countless dense brushstrokes, each drawing a single hair of a rabbit, grew in size as the density increased. High-density lines or sudden white space alternate-the layers may thus pile up. On closer inspection, the paper has been scoured by layers of extremely fine ink, revealing its structure and producing a subtle fading.
