William Lawson Little Jr. (June 23, 1910 – 1968), often known as Lawson Little, was a remarkable American figure who excelled both on the golf course and behind the camera. In 1935, he was awarded the James E. Sullivan Award for outstanding amateur athlete, recognizing his achievements beyond golf.

Little turned professional in April 1936, embarking on a successful PGA Tour career. He secured eight victories, including one major championship – the 1940 U.S. Open at Winged Foot.
