Stable with horses and donkey
Inside a stable, built in a strictly geometric way, there are three horses and a donkey, facing a manger, and a rooster and three hens, which move between the legs of the animals. In the very foreground, the small black figure of an insect can be seen. The artist meticulously describes all the details of the interior. The donkey twists its muzzle slightly to graze the straw, the horse on the left raises its muzzle in a neigh, the one in the center stares meekly at the viewer and the one on the right, the only caparisoned one, turns carelessly towards the manger.
