Aram Han Sifuentes (she/they) is a Korean American social practice fiber artist, writer, curator, and adjunct professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Born in Seoul, South Korea, in 1986, her artistic journey began amidst the backdrop of immigration—a formative experience that profoundly informs her work’s core themes: race, identity, migration, labor, citizenship, and dissent.
