Bonaventura Peeters the Elder: Master of Stormy Seas

Bonaventure Peeters (I), born July 23rd, 1614, in Antwerp, was a Flemish painter, draughtsman, and etcher who ascended to prominence as one of the foremost marine artists of the Low Countries during the first half of the seventeenth century.
