Letters embroidered on colorful jacquard fabric.Carlos Arias works painting and embroidery. Lives in Mexico since 1988. Stops painting from 1994 to 2015 dedicated himself to embroidery. In 1998 Arias became professor at UDLAP.This piece addresses itself into conceptual linguistic art, a phase that is only seen at embroidery artwork of the artist. He weaves phrases that open dialogue to other ways to see the world, ultimately the way that he sees the world.The sentence weave in this piece shows a stand about the artistic practice.
