Carmen López Blumenkron de Wenzel, known universally as Carmen Wenzel, is a Mexican sculptor and painter whose monumental steel sculptures explore themes of cosmology and geological grandeur—particularly the volcanoes Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl.
