An orange soda on a table with a background of a town.Elena Climent is a painter illustrator and writer. Her work depicts intimate spaces, within traditional Mexican places. As painter, she uses a typical still life approach at the same time that she uses an object to introduces us to another scene often a typical contemporary Mexican landscape. In “Ventana a Tizapán” we can see this. First a typical wall cladding with tile, a brick fence with a traditional Mexican soda “Jarritos” in glass bottle. The scene uses a window to show a street corner from Tizapán, a town in the municipality of Álvaro Obregón in Ciudad de México.
