In the Oration of Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane, the theme on the left of the conversation of Christ with the angel and the sleeping apostles is articulated in a very precious setting, all vertically, minutely described in naturalistic details of the scale, of the trunks, of the foliage, of the botanical varieties of flowers. In the background, a troop of warriors is entering a turreted Jerusalem. The group of Christ and the apostles is opposed by the gang of armigers, among whom a priest with a Jewish cap stands out.
