Name of registration of the author: Luiz Antônio da SIlva. Year and Place of birth: 1935, Alto do Moua, Caruaru, PE. There are three types of ceramics: simple utilitarian, figurative utilitarian, and decorative. The work is almost entirely made manually, and lathe is used mostly for utilitarian pieces. The art of making vases, sculptures, and other objects became one of the strongest expressions of the culture in the Northeast region.
