Manuel Ángeles Ortiz gave praise to feelings free from adjectives, by means of a cubist plastic expression which was singular to his situation as a Spanish artist in the School of Paris, thus, converting this work into a masterly example of balance between emotion and feeling. We can detect the fibers of the oriental soul which the artist fostered in Granada, and which perhaps, inspired his praise to El Greco, in his repeated series from the 1960s and 1970s. © Manuel Ángeles Ortiz, VEGAP, Jaén 2004.
