Infinity Ward and Activision paired up again to develop and publish the 2007 installment in the Call of Duty franchise: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Available on Nintendo DS, PCs, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii consoles, this is the first M-rated game in the franchise. Although still a first-person shooter, Modern Warfare moves away from the previous WWII plotline into the year 2011 in the Middle East and Russia.
