Sir Peircy Brett (1709-1781) was a British Royal Navy officer & MP known for his service during the Jacobite rising and War of Austrian Succession. He commanded HMS Lion and Yarmouth, participating in key naval battles. Also noted for commanding the landing party that sacked Paita.
