Born in the vibrant, transformative atmosphere of Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1973, Rada Boukova has spent her career mastering the art of finding the extraordinary within the mundane. Her creative lineage is rooted in a profound fascination with the textures of daily existence, a passion nurtured during her foundational studies in applied arts and textile design. This early immersion in the tactile world was further deepened at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, where she specialized in stage design.
