Alongside contemporaries such as Carlos Luna and Alberto Ibáñez Cerda, Guerrero helped spearhead a movement that breathed new life into the regional scene, blending local identity with a burgeoning contemporary consciousness. His early works were characterized by a raw, expressionist fervor; through bold, sweeping brushstrokes and a palette of striking colors, he sought to translate the visceral emotions of the human condition directly onto the canvas, creating a visual language that was as much about feeling as it was about sight.A Journey Through Form and Concept
