Round performance of the Last Judgment. In heaven Christ thrones between saints and angels with the instruments of passion. In the clouds angels blow on trumpets. On earth the dead rise from their graves, in the midst of the archangel Michael. Left angels with the saved souls, right pull devils to the damned. In the four corners the symbols of the evangelists with bands.

Aert Pietersz (1550–1612) was a Dutch Golden Age painter known for his portraits and allegorical scenes. Part of a prominent painting family, he captured the spirit of Amsterdam during a pivotal era in art history.
