His artistic journey was profoundly shaped by Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, movements which instilled in him a fascination with light, color, and expressive brushstrokes – elements he skillfully incorporated into his distinctive style.- Early Influences: Pontoy’s formative years coincided with the burgeoning Impressionist movement led by Claude Monet and Pierre Auguste Renoir.
