A melted and partially burnt computer and keyboard salvaged from the Bank of England after a fire broke out in 1986. Several office spaces were damaged as a result of the fire. The plastic casing around the monitor is dripping over the screen, which is blackened and cracked. The plastic generally is discoloured and coming away from the computers structure allowing you to see the inner components. The keyboard is still largely intact, but the keys have lost the lettering.
